Maui is one of the most beautiful and desired islands to own Real Estate in the world!The Island of Maui is divided into 6 different Real Estate areas. Each of these 6 areas are very different with their own distinct climate and geography. First, there is West Maui, which includes the communities of Lahaina, Kaanapali, Honokawai, Kahana, Napili, Kapalua, Olowalu, and Ukumehame. Second, there is South Maui, which includes the communities of Kihei, Wailea, Makena, and Maalaea. Third, there is Central Maui, which includes the communities of Wailuku, Kahului, Waikapu, Waiehu and Waihee. Fourth there is Upcountry Maui which includes the communities of Pukalani, Makawao, and Kula. Fifth, there is the North shore of Maui, which includes the communities of Spreckelsville, Paia, Haiku, and Huelo. Finally there is East Maui which includes the community of Hana.

What sets me apart from other Maui Realtors?For me, it's all about true concern and integrity for the many people that choose to do business with me. I am not out to just earn a commission. First, Real Estate on Maui is a business of referral, so one must know what they are doing and do it well. Second, one must have a discerning eye for properties on Maui regarding location, condition, and price. Third, one must have the organizational and communication skills to manage a real estate Purchase Contract once it is in escrow. Showing property is one small part of the puzzle in buying Real Estate on Maui. Fourth, one must enjoy the doing detail work that is required in researching properties on Maui, writing an offer that will be accepted when representing a Buyer, advising when representing a Seller, which offer to choose, and the diplomacy & follow through necessary to close escrow.
From the Maui Buyer's side... I am concerned with ensuring that my clients choose a sound real estate purchase in Maui. This means doing my homework by researching all matching Maui properties, previewing Maui homes and condos, looking at the sold Maui comps, trying to get as much information for my buyers from the listing agent. It also means knowing how to write a clean Real Estate Purchase Contract that will be accepted. I am an Accredited Buyers Representative. I also work with an extremely detailed Maui Home Inspector who far surpasses other Maui home inspectors that I have previously worked with. I will purchase a one year premium home warranty for my buyer's at the close of escrow.
From the Maui Seller's side...I am a professional photographer and interior designer. I will showcase your Maui home or condo at it' best. Most real estate on Maui is sold to those living on the mainland, especially California. The days of buyers driving around the streets of Maui looking for open houses are diminishing quickly. Most Maui properties for sale are found and previewed online before they buyers actually see the home in person. I can't begin to stress the importance of staging and photographing. All of my photos are edited in Adobe Photoshop 3, with photo filters, highlighting, shading, color saturation, contrast and brightness. Staging the home or condo is vital so that buyers can view your Maui property and imagine their furnishings in it. This becomes nearly impossible when there is too much clutter with items such as personal photos. The buyers then feel that they are visiting someone elses home and not a home that they could call their own. When it comes to staging, understating is the rule of thumb. As a bonus to my Seller's, I also work at the reduced commission rate of 5% instead of the standard 6%, saving the seller thousands of dollars at closing.

Where do I meet with my clients?
I have a luxury office and conference room at my condo in Wailuku, Maui where I can show my clients listings or do signings in a comfortable and relaxed setting. I also have 24 hour access to the office of Keller Williams Realty located in Kihei, Maui at the Kukui Mall next to Starbucks. Keller Williams Realty Maui just opened this newly designed office in October of 2007.
